Ways To Contribute

Giving Tree

Come celebrate the future of our children! Giving Tree is a collage of engraved leaves gracing the entrance of our school and is offered to families, staff, friends and corporations. These unique plaques resemble leaves and are engraved with a family’s name, a thank you to a teacher, a word of support, the name and graduation of a student or the name of a loved one remembered or honored.

Annual Appeal

Our Annual Appeal kicks off in late fall. Annual appeal donations provide unrestricted funds to supplement our yearly operating budget. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation so that all families participate at the level they are most comfortable with and all gifts are greatly appreciated. Each child at Adams Montessori School benefits directly from your charitable contribution.

Benefit Auction

We celebrate each spring with a gala event to benefit the primary and elementary programs at Adams Montessori School. Organized by parents with broad community support, our popular auction supports capital improvements, classroom materials and program enhancements. It is our biggest fundraiser by far.

Planned Giving

Planned giving allows Adams Montessori School to benefit from your generosity in years to come and ensure our future for the next generation. For information on making a planned giving gift, please contact the Head of School.

In-Kind Donations

Our children have family members with wonderful hobbies, talents and occupational skills. We encourage parents and extended family members to donate time and items that can help enhance classrooms at both the primary and elementary levels. These include your time, services or goods gifted to the school. Over the past few years, donations have ranged from kitchen and craft supplies, to art lessons, labor and supplies for painting our classrooms and even carpentry services. The fair market value of such items is tax-deductible. The real market value is priceless.

Model United Nations

Each year, the upper elementary students participate in a model United Nations, intended to introduce our children the greater global community and how we can help address concerns that impact so many people around the world. Students travel to New York City for three days, culminating in a mock session at the UN where students vote on drafted resolutions. This educational event is costly but represents an investment in our children they will remember for a lifetime. Your generous contribution and participation in fundraising campaigns supports their experience and helps us shape our future leaders.
