Stacey Sheehan

Primary Lead Teacher - Birch Room
Stacey has a long history with Adams Montessori, with her first introduction through her mother who was our office administrator for many years. When she was still in high school, Stacey worked as a substitute and a summer assistant. She also completed a senior internship at Adams Montessori. After receiving her AMI primary diploma from Washington Montessori Institute (along with her M.Ed. from Loyola of Maryland), Stacey started teaching full time in the Birch Room. Stacey has always loved working with children both at Adams as well as at the YMCA and with the PACE Headstart program. Stacey loves Montessori for the hands-on approach, individual learning, and the whole child development which builds self-confidence, independence, and self-esteem. Stacey loves to travel and has been to such far-flung places as Albania, Australia and Barbados. She also enjoys meditation, exercising, painting and reading
