Salimah Samji

A board member for the past two years, Salimah is also the mother of Karim who has traveled through our toddler, primary and lower elementary programs. Karim is set to move on from upper elementary in June of 2024. Salimah is the Director of Building State Capability at Harvard's Center for International Development, focused on helping governments better implement their policies and programs. Salimah used to work as a Casualty Actuary but changed careers after working with Afghan refugees living in Pakistan. Salimah enjoys teaching, traveling and spending time outdoors.
