Marina grew up in Waynesville, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a BFA in Dance Choreography and Performance as well as her K-12 teaching licensure.
Marina's interest in Montessori was sparked during her college years when she worked in the aftercare program at Greensboro Montessori School. She has also worked for a summer at Vineyard Montessori School. Marina loves experiencing the joy kids have for learning! In her free time, Marina enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
